Finding the perfect wedding dress is so important and let's face it, it will be one of the most memorable dresses you will ever wear. Finding a wedding dress, which will make you look and feel amazing, is is all part of your wedding dress journey. Here at Julia Tasker Bridal Couture, we offer brides a high-level, one-to-one service, helping them to find their perfect dress which suits their shape, personality and requirements. While understanding and appreciating how excitingly wonderful it can be to find 'the one'.

Recently I asked local wedding photographer Andrea Pickering (who I have worked with many times before, she's fabulous!) to come along and capture images of the 'stages' of choosing your perfect dress here at Julia Tasker Bridal Couture - 'the wedding dress journey'. The following beautiful images show perfectly what you as a bride-to-be can expect throughout your journey here at Julia Tasker Bridal Couture finding 'the one'.

Inside Julia Tasker Bridal Couture.

On arrival to the boutique, we will chat over coffee (or a glass of 'bubbly'!) about your hopes and aspirations for your wedding day and your thoughts on what style of dress you would like to wear. You may also wish to discuss having your wedding dress designed and made for you by me here at the boutique.

I will help guide you towards choosing your dress. Choose from a wide selection of beautiful wedding dresses and accessories from the boutique's top British designers Sassi Holford, Caroline Castigliano, Stephanie Allin and Ritva Westenius.

It's a wonderful feeling when you find 'the one'.

After helping you to hand pick your beautiful dress, 4-5 months later, it will arrive into the boutique, made especially for you. At your 'First Fitting' I will meticulously check the fit of your newly arrived dress and carry out any necessary tweaks that may be required. You may need a further 2 fittings to ensure your dress fits like a glove and is true perfection.

Finalising your accessories - 'Styling Appointment' where you choose your veil. hair accessory and jewellery usually takes place when your dress has arrived into the boutique.
